Real wedding on Lake Como, in the enchanting Villa Del Balbianello

I was in the car, on my way back from an inspection, when I received the first phone call from Thomas: just a few questions, we immediately got on and we arranged a meeting call for the following day.

That's how I met Alice and Thomas, and I was amazed by the simplicity with which they dealt with all the choices related to the wedding planning. Surely the great harmony between them made everything easier, always aligned in tastes and choices!

As in the selection of the venue: they asked me to have a complete overview of the villas of Lake Como, I sent them all the details and in a few days they had their short list ready. They had selected different wedding venues, but when we did the site inspections and arrived at Villa Del Balbianello there were no more doubts: the choice was made!

So, with some hesitation due to the uncertainty of Covid and calls between London, Lugano and Como, within four months our wedding was ready and we arrived at the big day!

Clouds in the sky and a few drops of rain, not very much expected on a July day on the shores of Lake Como, did not bother the bride and groom to live their day to its fullest and the guests to enjoy the beauty of the venue and the wedding reception.

For the bride's getting ready we chose the suite at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo.

In the midst of tension and excitement, it was time for the First Sight, when the groom gifted the bouquet to the bride.

Alice and Thomas wanted to be able to fully enjoy the wedding day with their guests, but not to miss the photo shoot on the lake, so the boat shoot took place after the First Sight, but before the ceremony.

With Alice and the stylist we designed a transformable wedding dress that would give different outfits for different moments, so as to surprise Thomas again at the entrance of the ceremony.

For the wedding decorations, we chose to keep the predominance of the villa's greenery and combine it with romantic white flowers: our idea was to have a garden blooming inside the villa, and so we did!

Obviously everything was wrapped in the romantic light of candles and a meticulous lighting design
